FIELD: engineering. SUBSTANCE: any flap of the gates is made in form of telescopic pair. Basic section 5 is mounted onto horizontal axis 6 provided with shock-absorber 7 disposed onto the axis. Removable section 8 is spring-loaded relatively the basic section for rest against chair 10 which acts as a rod of compressing spring 9 and against rollers 11 and 12. Both sections have inclined surfaces 13 and 14. To pass ice-removing machine into hockey field, the flaps rotate about axes of hinges till rest against ice. Flaps fall onto ice smoothly due to action of shock-absorbers. Internal section is removed by means of compressing springs and inclined transport road is formed.
