FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: engine has working cylinder 1 and compression cylinder 4. Valve gear is driven from the engine output shaft. Working medium is isothermally compressed in compression cylinder 4. Simultaneously, the working medium is saturated with water steam. Water is fed through pores of evaporator 7. Compressed working medium is heated in heat exchanger and then in heat exchanger 12 (heater), after which it flows to working cylinder 1. After expansion, working medium gives off heat in heat exchanger 11 and then in heat exchanger 13. In the cooler-condenser 15 working medium is cooled down to dew point. Dehumidified working medium and condensate flow to cylinder 4. The cycle is repeated. Heat exchangers 11 and 12 may be made in form of thermocompressors. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 7 cl, 8 dwg
