FIELD: gates of water-development works. SUBSTANCE: sealing member is made of elastomer and is secured to one of parts being sealed. Member consists of plates whose end surfaces are fastened together and are provided with at least one rod with end stops secured on it. Bearing surfaces of stops are engageable with end surfaces of extreme plates. Plates are made of elastomer reinforced with cord; end surfaces of these plates are joined by an adhesive joint. Contour of end stops is identical to contour of plates in cross section. One of stops is secured on rod by means of threaded joint. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 5 cl, 4 dwg
