FIELD: hydraulic power engineering; devices for converting wave energy into electric energy. SUBSTANCE: plant has bearing frame, float, movable frame and shaft on which float is mounted for rotation and reciprocating motion. In area where float moves, shaft has laminated helical section whose upper and lower portions are of opposite twisting. Ratchet mechanisms are made in form of cylindrical housing secured to the float and provided with transverse partitions on which half-couplings of ratchet mechanisms are rigidly secured. Half- couplings are mounted on shaft for motion along it. Half-couplings have slit-like slots corrsponding to the screw profile. Each half-coupling is located for interaction only with one part of helical section of shaft. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 2 dwg
