FIELD: well pumps. SUBSTANCE: plunger pump is connected with ground drive by means of rod string. Ground drive is made in form of pumping jack which consists of crank mechanism and balance beam. Jointed connecting rod consists of two ends with right-handed and left-handed threads and connecting member with respective threads at the ends. One end of connecting rod is linked with balance beam and other is linked with crank. Connecting member is made in form of pipe with threads on its inner surface. Threads of connecting rod ends are made on outer surface. Connecting member is made in form of rod with threads on its outer surface; connecting rod ends are hollow with threads on their inner surfaces. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 3 cl, 6 dwg
