FIELD: processing and/or burial of wastes. SUBSTANCE: after positioning of radioactive waste in containers in storage, they are potted with metal melt composed of components mutually dissolving in each other with densities equal, less and higher than densities of different kinds of radioactive wastes. Temperature of melt is 200-250 C higher than temperature of most refractory component from composition of melt. After crystallization produced metal block has parameters satisfying its reliable storage in the course of period of complete decay of radionuclides. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of method. 2 dwg
