FIELD: analog-to-digital equipment. SUBSTANCE: value of senior digit weight V₂ of digital-to-analog converter to be calibrated is referred to standard measure. Difference between doubled value of output signal of digital-to-analog converter to be verified is measured, which corresponds to input code Y, and value of its output signal, which corresponds to doubled input code 2Y. Difference between output signal of digital-to-analog converter to be calibrated, which corresponds to input code and is equal to sum of code Y and senior digit, and sum of signals V₁ and U(Y) is measured as well. Digital processing of data achieved has to be recurrent procedure of computation of values of transfer characteristics of digital-to-analog converter under test in all the points beginning from the computation of value of senior weight digit.
