FIELD: games; entertaining devices. SUBSTANCE: catapult for launching flying toys, e.g. airplane, comprises casing in the form of rod with longitudinal guiding side and handle, a launching means and a lock consisting of two parallel cantilever plates superposed on each other. Both cantilever plates are connected rigidly at the root with casing and arranged along its longitudinal axis with their cantilever part opposite the end of casing with a provision for flexible bending. One of the cantilever plates has bent portions for engaging the flying toy while the other one is capable of pressing the toy against longitudinal guiding side of casing.
