FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: method of casting of plates and thin-walled profiles with ordered structure of material is realized, using directed crystallization of overcooled molten bath from start-up piece and use of mold, made of molten bath nonwettable material and following formation of piece, made of molten bath. Molten bath overcooling to given temperature and its crystallization are exercised in turn: first mold is filled with molten bath, then they thermostat start-up piece and make it to contact molten bath, then they deep mold in liquid cooler under given temperature of molten bath overcooling, keep mold in cooler till whole volume of molten bath is overcooled and till following spontaneous crystallization, caused by start-up piece. EFFECT: method of casting is used in metallurgy to produce pieces, made of crystal materials and their alloys. 4 dwg
