FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method refers to the casting industry and can be used in machine engineering for castings manufacturing, which components intensively burn in course of melting, castings of expensive metals and alloys, of alloys which liquidus and the solidus temperature range is insignificant. The method includes the following sequence of process operations: manufacturing a mould with a cavity of the same configuration as a plate, consecutive loading of charge layer consisting of 80% boron carbide and 20% flux P-0.66 into the mould, measurement steel plate, measurement blanks of high-alloy cast iron and cladding flux P-0.66, placing loaded mould into the inducer, melting metal loaded into the mould and solidifying the casting.
EFFECT: producing castings with uniform structure and reducing complexity of castings production.
