SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of settling deposit water samples, had been recovered together with oil as by product; measuring time interval from a time moment of taking the sample out of the well up to a beginning of precipitation of gypsum upon it settling, many-times repeating stages of taking off samples, measuring time interval from a time moment of taking the sample of water up to a beginning of precipitation of gypsum in it upon settling the water sample; and according to a change of the above mentioned time interval determining a termination of an inhibitor action at recovery of flooded oil.
