FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: method involves preparing the hydrophobic thermoplastic mixtures containing the inhibitor, placing it in a cylindrical body with screw holes on the ends, running into the well, heating the mixture till the ambient temperature, dissolving the hydrophobic portion of the mixture on the surface of permeable material overlapping the dosing hole in the body bottom, accumulating oil thereunder with subsequent dissolution of water-soluble inhibitor with water particles (in the presence of inhibitor in the mixture) partially contained in the oil on the surface of permeable material and final dissolving of fallen inhibitor in the hydraulic lock of the underlying section. Dissolution is carried out at a rate slower than the rate of mixture sedimentation on the surface of permeable material, with subsequent, permanent in time transfer of dissolved inhibitor in the formation fluid regardless of change of formation fluid water content in time. The device includes at least one section in the form of a hollow cylindrical body with a bottom for placing the thermoplastic mixture and is closed from the bottom by a perforated plug. The body is configured with impermeable side surface having adhesion to the hydrophobic mixture. The bottom is provided with a dosing hole closed by permeable material. Under the bottom of the above-located lower end of the body, there is oil accumulated to dissolve the mixture regardless of formation fluid water content. Gas accumulating under the bottom is withdrawn outside the body by a tube. In order to form a hydraulic lock above the thermoplastic mixture, a section is opened from the side of the upper end and is placed with a gap in cylindrical casing.
EFFECT: increased efficiency and cost-effectiveness of inhibitor delivery.
