SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of heating a sulfur containing raw material up to a temperature of coking; feeding it to a chamber for slow coking together with hydrogen; treating the coke, has been formed after the coking process, by hydrogen at temperature 490-550 C and pressure 0.6-5 MPa over 8-24 hours; the hydrogen is being fed in quantity 10-100 nm3/m3.
