FIELD: mechanical engineering, tool manufacture. SUBSTANCE: tool surface is prepared preliminary. Then it specially treated by aqueous solution at the temperature being less than its boiling point. The solution consists of metal containing components and non-metal containing ones for forming strengthening phase. Then it is finally heated up to tindoor-Ac1 temperature with all operations multiple repeated in the complete process cycle. Final heating is carried out either by cutting the metal difficult to work or by heating in a heating device, in particular, in salt bath at the temperature exceeding 560 C Oxide, metal bearing acid, alkali or salt with concentration within 10 g/l are used as metal bearing component, and thiourea or sulfanol with concentration within from 1 g/l up to their concentration in aqueous suspension are used as non-bearing components.
