FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: tool made of high-speed steel is subject to treatment in water solution of ephylam, preheating and treatment in the medium of liquid nitrogen, at that preheating is implemented up to the temperature 590÷610°C, and in the capacity of ephylam it is used solution of Polyzam-0.5. Application of the proposed strengthening method provides increasing of fatigue resistance and increasing of tap resistance with screw cutting in screw nut with increased solidity for 2÷3 times.
EFFECT: increasing of tool resistance while material treatment with increased solidity.
