FIELD: test technology. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying high-pressure air from a start-up compressor into a hinged nozzle of air-gas branch pipe of a turbine preliminarily rotating the nozzle for producing direct or inverse pressure drop in a flow-through portion of a turbocompressor, measuring flow necessary parameters in each case. Furthermore, tests can be carried out with a rotor, removed or braked, flow parameters being measured as well. The bench for testing turbocompressor furthermore is provided with a two-stage injector mounted behind the turbine, the first stage including diffuser and hinged nozzle connected with the start-up compressor and the second one including a diffuser and annular nozzle connected to a pressure branch-pipe of the turbocompressor behind combustion chamber.
