FIELD: protection of respiratory organs of industry and agriculture workers from hazardous substance present in air. SUBSTANCE: respirator has carcass with nose joint connected by nose clamp received in rectangular slots of carcass rests and is locked against displacement in it by protrusions, which are received in openings disposed along nose clamp edges. Obturator has layer of filtering material with non-woven substrate, layer of material free of substrate and made from ultrathin polymeric filaments having air flow resistance of 4-7 Pa, with air flow rate being equal to 0.01 m/sec. Head portion made from rubber cord is fastened by means of retaining slots in carcass eyelets, with slit width being equal to 0.2-0.3 of cord diameter. Retaining slots are spaced from obturator edge of half-mask by distance equal to 0.7-0.8 of half-mask depth. Carcass with nose clamp is attached to strip made from non-woven material with rigidity not exceeding 5 gs and folded in two layers.
