METHOD AND APPARATUS TO CLEAN GRAIN Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

FIELD: first stage grain and corn cleaning. SUBSTANCE: incoming grain stream is cleaned from big additions by feeding it through sieve grating. Then the grain stream is turned into pressing layer both over ventilating and sieving machine and over grader block by collecting grain in bunker-feeder, from which grain by gravity is continuously fed for cleaning. In the case, adjustment of grain stream is exercised by change of live shutting of grain stream. Apparatus has bunker-feeder, made as cylindrical body, in which mechanism to separate big additions from grain is placed. One bunker-feeder is mounted between main loading noria and ventilating and sieving machine and another one - between auxiliary loading noria and grader block and in the case its outlet branch pipe has two in series located shutters. Bunker-feeder has window for visual control. EFFECT: increase of grain cleaning quality, reliability and productivity of apparatus, safety of personnel. 3 cl, 1 dwg
