FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves drilling holes between the breaking-in wells and guarded object to form a screening slit. The breaking-in and screening holes are drilled at an angle of 30-60 deg therebetween. In case of a negative inclination angle of the screening slit, additional shorter and peripheral holes are drilled in the peripheral rock. Breaking-in holes are loaded with loosening charges while the short ones, with low-power charges. The charges are fired first in screening holes, then the loosening charges and, after a time delay, the peripheral and low-power charges. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 5 cl, 1 dwg
