FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: superimposed unit is used for measurement which has a prism as ancillary base and indication unit mounted onto the shaft. Superimposed unit is provided with brackets which is mounted onto arm and connected with prism by means of a spring. Indication unit is made in form of indicator provided with measuring tip and mounted at level. Measuring tip interacts with prism at the point which belongs to surface of axis of hinge of the level. this surface is perpendicular to bisector plane of the prism. level is made for rotation about axis of hinge. unit is mounted onto the shaft at two diametrically opposite positions; one position is assumed as start point of indication. Parameter to be measured is determined as relation of indications to doubled length of base of the unit. EFFECT: improved precision of measurements; improved efficiency. 2 dwg
