FIELD: production of chemical current sources. SUBSTANCE: sealing lid 8 is made of polypropylene 9 with rigidly fitted-in metal inserts 10 and 11. Insert 10 serves to connect lid and cell case by means of circular welding seam 12. Insert 11 is terminal. Method of sealing is based on ability of polypropylene to restore its initial shape at heating after plastic deformation at room temperature. Induction heating of metal inserts press-fitted in polypropylene causes flashing of surface layers of polypropylene in contact with inserts and thus upsetting of fitted-in parts owing to created inner stresses. Tight contact and adhesion in zone of joining of metal and polypropylene are provided. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 3 cl, 4 dwg
