FIELD: shipboard electrical equipment. SUBSTANCE: shipboard electric generating system consists of several power plants and jumpers connecting these plants each of which has at least two synchronous generators connected to the common bus through reactors; extreme synchronous generators (according to their arrangement in the system) are provided with twin reactors whose one sections are interconnected through one jumper and other sections are connected via switches with buses of their own plant and each other power plant by means of second jumper. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 1 dwg
