FIELD: water cleaning equipment. SUBSTANCE: installation has filter with impervious to water closure and piezometer tube with float chamber and float in its upper part, siphon with channel (branch) connected to downcast branch and connected with plug cock whose other channel opens into atmosphere. Lever with counterweight fitted on square head of cock plug is mechanically coupled with float. Installation has also flushing tank. In case of increase in loss of head in filtering charge, water level in piezometer tube and uprising branch of siphon increases, float chamber gets filled to critical level and float floats up. Under action of counterweight, lever shifts plug cock in position in which channel, through drilled hole in cock plug, is brought into communication with channel connected to downcast branch of siphon, and air entrapped in siphon is bled into atmosphere. Siphon gets charged and flushing of filter begins. Water level in float chamber drops and float, through tie, shifts cock in initial position; downcast branch of siphon gets disconnected from atmosphere. Flushing done, siphon is discharged through pipe, and installation is changed over for filtering. EFFECT: enhanced operation reliability, simplified design. 2 dwg
