FIELD: lifting and conveying machines. SUBSTANCE: load gripping device has frame, power cylinder whose case is positioned on the frame, and lever mechanism coupled with the rod of the power cylinder and provided with gripping levers. The lever mechanism has a carriage wherein a flexible member is received. The flexible member is coupled with ties through axles which can move over longitudinal grooves of the carriage. The ties, in turn, is coupled with the gripping levers and the rod of the power cylinder is coupled with the carriage. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of gripping. 4 dwg
