FIELD: chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: cobalt hydrophosphate sesquihydrate is prepared by interaction of 30-60% phosphoric acid solution with cobalt hydroxocarbonate. Process is carried out at pH 2.8-3.2, 40-6- C in the presence of 20-30% hydrogen peroxide solution taken by ratio cobalt hydroxocarbonate: hydrogen peroxide = 5:1-3:1. Parent reagents are fed to reactor continuously. Time of suspension into reactor is 20=30 min.
