FIELD: used for adhesion of film polarizers. SUBSTANCE: the optically transparent pressure-sensitive adhesive for polarizers comprises (%): 45-48 butylacrylate-vinyl acetate copolymer; 5.3-8.2 Siberian cedar balsam; 1.7-2.8 a resorcinol alkylphenolformaldehyde resin which is a product of condensation of monoalkylphenol from propylene- formaldehyde trimers in the presence of triethyl amine in a 1:2.0:0.05 molar ratio and a modifying additive such as rosin glycerol ether in an amount of 25% of the amount of resol; 2-3 dibutyl phthalate, and up to 100 toluene. The components are stirred at 62 ± 2 C for 3 hours. The properties of the adhesive: light transmission triacetate film/triacetate film 92/90.0; the adhesion strength when peeled off from glass is 653 n/m; the adhesive is resistant when exposed to temperatures of from minus 60 to +60 C (3 cycles of 30 min each) and when exposed to 160 C for 500 hours at a relative humidity of 95 + 3 % and at a temperature of 42 + 2 C for 10 days. EFFECT: improved properties of the adhesive. 1 tbl
