FIELD: chemical engineering. SUBSTANCE: perfluorinated hydrocarbon oil or fluorochlorocarbon oil is thickened with polytetrafluoroethylene or polytrifluorochloroethylene or tetrafluoroethylene- hexafluoropropylene copolymer or tetrafluoroethylene-perfluoroalkyl (C1-C3)-vinyl ester copolymer. The thickening is carried out by heating to the polymer melting temperature and thereafter cooling the product. Said perhalogenated fluorine-containing polymers are first subjected to ionizing irradiation with a dose of 30-100 Mrad. EFFECT: improved properties of the plastic lubricant. 1 tbl
