FIELD: civil engineering. SUBSTANCE: before placing the support pillar into soft ground, a pit is excavated to a depth of 0.3-0.35 % of the length of the dug-in part of pillar. After driving in the pillar, the pit is filled with a large-grained material. Disposed in said material are crossbar and reinforcing layer of crosswise oriented sheets. There may be additional crossbars alternating with reinforcing sheets. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 4 dwg
