FIELD: civil engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves removal of old exfoliated coatings from individual parts of damaged surface, then reducing concentration of internal stresses by short-time uniform heating of the surface of damaged roof. Heating is conducted until the softening temperature of bitumen binder in the covering is exceeded by 10-12 C within the time sufficient for the binder to rise to the surface.
