FIELD: construction industry, restoration of old and formation of new roofing from material of old soft roofing made of materials containing bitumen. SUBSTANCE: cleaned roofing is treated with molten primer based on bitumen. Old ruberoid roofing is comminuted, mixed in process of heating and dehydrated at same time. Prepared mass is applied to primed surface and later this surface is treated with molten bitumen. After cooling surface is compacted with the aid of hand or mechanized roller. Layer of material showing low light-absorbing property is applied additionally to protect roofing against solar heating. EFFECT: raised quality of roofing, prolonged service life of roofing, enhanced labor productivity and diminished cost of technological process. 2 cl, 3 dwg
