FIELD: military engineering. SUBSTANCE: rocket engine is made of sectors 1 provided with grooves between them and interconnected front and nozzle covers. Blasting cartridges are received inside the sectors. Outer periphery surface of the sectors corresponds to diameter of projectile. Area of cross-section of sector walls increases in the direction of nozzle. An ignitor is positioned within the nozzle opening of the cover behind a plug wherein detonator which is set in operation by gases of propellant charge. Sealing of the sectors and covers is provided with 'floating' rings having seals. Gases are discharged from the sectors to the nozzle through nozzle diaphragm provided with a space having rectangular cross- section. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 4 cl, 7 dwg
