FIELD: chemistry, photography. SUBSTANCE: halogen-silver photomaterial with controlled level of gloss of surface and good planeness is produced without use of blushing additions by injection of gelatine substitute into emulsion and protective gelatine layers. Gelatine substitute presents aqueous dispersion of copolymer of vinylacetate with dibuthylmaleinate containing N-polyvinylpyralidone. In this case quantity of gelatine substitute in terms of dry substance amounts to 20-50 per cent by mass in emulsion layer and to 5-30 per cent by mass in protective layer with reference to mass of dry gelatine.
