FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: manipulator has housing 1, motion mechanism 2, platform 3 for fastening the working members and orientation mechanism 4 with four-link articulated mechanism. Lengths of three links of four-link mechanism are constant, and length of fourth link is variable. Made on hinge joint of fourth link is gear rim engaging with toothed rack. Rack is made for movement both together with joint, and independently. Platform 3 can be set in any required position by changing relationship of lengths of articulated mechanism links.
