FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device comprises lever tongs and spring member with loop disposed between jaws of tongs. Ends of spring member are attached to corresponding jaws. Spring member with loop has the form of a band with recess at one end and thinned-out portion at the other, or it may consist of three parts of width B and B/2 held together by rods which can be reinstalled in through channels of the band parts. The thinned-out end of band interacts with recess on its other end. EFFECT: device can reduce a wide range of various articles. 5 dwg
