CURRENT COLLECTOR Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

FIELD: electrical engineering; current collectors of trolley buses. SUBSTANCE: current collector has metal base, two sides fixing carbon current collecting member and rubber shock absorber. Side projections of shock absorber are interference-fitted in slots of sides. Inclined flat of shock absorber central projection is arranged between sides forming an angle of 10 - 45 degrees between flat and vertical axis. Found in upper part of projection is cylindrical groove which serves to orientate carbon member relative to contact wire and provide protection of current collecting carbon member from oncoming mechanical shocks. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of operation. 4 dwg
