FIELD: electrical engineering; high-resistance brushed for electrical machines with severe communication conditions. SUBSTANCE: brush manufacturing process includes mixing of carbon filler with thermosetting oligomer; crushing, molding and mixing of carbon filler with oligomer is conducted at 100-140 C; then treated carbon filler is subjected to heat treatment at 190-270 C whereupon mass obtained is mixed up with thermosetting oligomer followed by its crushing and molding. Adequate conditions are ensured for applying uniform polymeric film onto carbon filler surface within temperature range of 100-140 C due to maximal plasticity of compound; upon heat treatment at 190-270 C, this film is adhered to carbon filler surface turning to nonmelting and nonsoluble state. Further mixing of mass with thermosetting oligomer obtained in this way makes it possible to obtain molded compound which is then used to produce high resistance brushed by molding. EFFECT: improved performance characteristics of brushes produced from this material. 1 tbl
