SUBSTANCE: proposed process of manufacture of brushes of electric machines includes mixing of starting components, formation with simultaneous pressing of conductive wire into brush, thermal treatment in protective environment. Mixture of metal oxide and copper having following proportion of components, per cent be mass: metal oxide 65-85; copper 15-35 treated thermally at temperature 550-750 C is used as the environment.
