RAILWAY CARRIAGE TABLE Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

FIELD: railway transport; passenger carriage compartment facilities. SUBSTANCE: table has wall panel, desk connected with panel for turning, support hinge-connected to desk and to carriage floor, and attachment members. Novelty is that desk support is made in form of extension ladder, and section fixing members are made in form of spring-loaded bell-cranks 4 with projections 5 and 6 on ends pointed in opposite directions. Bell cranks are hinge-connected in each upright 7 opposite to L-shaped guide secured to upright for engagement with slots made in uprights of both sections. EFFECT: facilitated getting of passengers on third tier berths. 3 dwg
