FIELD: railway transport; car building. SUBSTANCE: proposed step-ladder has shaped posts, steps hinge- connected with shaped posts and made for bringing steps into post profiles at folding the ladder. Post is hinge-connected through carrier with support of longitudinal wall for setting ladder in working position and is provided with working and non-working positions locks. Ladder is furnished with second carrier. Both carriers are made in form of bent profiled sections of different length, each being hinge-connected with post and installed at equal distances from door shut on axles of wall supports. At least one carrier has locking arm arranged above axle of wall support and connected through suspension and tension spring with wall support bracket. Wall support is provided with stop for fixing lower carrier in working position. Upper short carrier has L- shaped grip whose vertical member can hold upper step rocking by its end face bevel and is displaced to middle by value corresponding to thickness of folded posts.
