FIELD: maintenance and repair trains. SUBSTANCE: railway flat car has frame, running gear, coupler, brake rigging, ramps with shoes installed at both ends and furnished with drives, each arranged on hinged post for attachment of ramp to post. Flat car has maintenance platforms which form side boards when platforms are turned through 90 degrees. Secured on frame floor are mounting baffle. Distance between mounting baffles is greater than that between guide baffles. Maintenance platforms and hinged posts have handrails. Flat car has additional step in zone of location of each hinged post. Rigidly secured to frame side beams are strips with seats for setting detachable railings in travelling position.
