SUBSTANCE: safeguard comprises telescoping transmitters disposed on boom sections 1, 2 and 10, potentiometers 3 and 20 with slides 7 and 21, switch consisting of base 11, sockets 12 and 13, plug 14, spring 15, force transmitter, angle transmitter, load relay, power supply source, milliammeter with additional resistor, time delay relay, capacitor, intermediate relay, signalling panel. Potentiometers have a variable step-by-step resistance. Automatic selection of operating conditions is governed by the number of extended sections. Safeguard operates in complete correspondence with the load characteristics of crane without the use of trimming resistors. EFFECT: improved design. 2 cl, 2 dwg
