FIELD: testing equipment. SUBSTANCE: damped oscillations of the system under investigation are generated. Measured are the first time internal between adjacent equilibrium position moments, and amplitude value when exciting externally by a pulse of calibrated amplitude of one magnitude. Measured are the second time internal between adjacent equilibrium position moments, and amplitude value when exciting externally by a pulse of calibrated amplitude of another magnitude. Parameters characterizing nonlinear mechanical oscillating system are determined on the base of relations presented. Keys, OR elements, AND elements, NOT elements, pulse counters, decoders, triggers, timers, commutators, calculators, and registers are introduced into the device.
