FIELD: conversion equipment. SUBSTANCE: inverter includes power bridges of controlled valves. Each power bridge of controlled valves has bridge of reversible valves, commutation unit composed of bias source and completely controlled valves connected to it with unlike power electrodes and auxiliary controlled valves coupled to it which number corresponds to number of controlled valves of power bridges. Center taps of like phases of bridges are tied together in pairs, free power electrodes of auxiliary controlled valves are linked to them. Center leads of phases of power bridges of controlled valves are connected to leads for load connection via chokes. Required power can be produced by parallel connection of individual inverters.
