FIELD: DC voltage changers. SUBSTANCE: inverter has controlled power rectifier bridge 1-12, reverse-biased rectifier bridge 13-30, auxiliary controlled rectifiers 36-41, of quantity corresponding to power bridge controlled rectifiers, and switching unit built around bias source and fully controlled rectifiers 34,35 connected to it through unlike-polarity power electrodes. Each phase of controlled power rectifier bridge and of reverse-bias rectifier bridge has series-connected controlled rectifier circuits whose quantity equals number of terminal pairs for connecting loads. Free like-polarity electrodes of controlled rectifier circuits in controlled power rectifier bridge are connected to input leads. In reverse-biased rectifier bridge, free power electrodes of controlled rectifier circuits are coupled through diodes with input leads and through auxiliary controlled rectifiers, with like-polarity power electrodes of fully controlled rectifiers. Center taps of controlled rectifier circuits in power bridge and in reverse-biased rectifier bridge are joined in pairs and form load terminal leads, Current through controlled rectifiers depends on load. EFFECT: improved design. 4 dwg
