FIELD: coating. SUBSTANCE: burner has connection positioned so that its end and the nozzle cut are separated by and axial gap adjoining a powder delivery line. The connection has ledge arranged on its inner surface so as to increase the flow section area. The connection has intermediate cylindrical section and an expanding outlet one disposed between the nozzle cut and the ledge on its inner surface with the outlet cylindrical section being located beyond the ledge. Additional cylindrical sections of various diameters are provided on the inner surface so as to precede the intermediate cylindrical section. The sections of larger diameter alternate with those of smaller one. The intermediate cylindrical section is preceded by a narrowed inlet one disposed on the inner surface of the connection and having alternating conical and cylindrical sections on its inner surface. The mentioned narrowed inlet section is preceded by an initial cylindrical segment located on the inner surface of the connection. The latter surface has one or more expanded or narrowed cylindrical sections extra which are disposed in tandem and follow the expanded outlet section as far as the ledge. Ledges are disposed on the connection so as to circumscribe a circle about its side wall in the intermediate section and/or in the narrowed outlet one as viewed from the flow channel.
