FIELD: woodworking industry. SUBSTANCE: a closed space is produced in the process that is fed with fuel, compressed gas and refrigerant, pressing force is created by the combustion products of fuel burnt up in the closed space, and the briquette is warmed up by discharge of combustion products from the closed space through the briquette mass. The pressing force is varied by mixing of combustion products with compressed gas, and the temperature of pressing process is varied by mixing of combustion products with refrigerant.
