FIELD: heating systems.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to heat engineering and can be used for obtaining heat energy when firing any solid fuel in the form of loose fractions, for example bituminous and brown coals, peat, domestic and industrial wastes, including wood wastes. The effect is reached by the fact that in burning method of loose wastes, mainly wood wastes, which involves simultaneous pressing and supply of wastes to combustion chamber, according to invention, pressed wastes are shaped in the form of a brickette of infinite length, the ratio of width B of which to its height H meets the condition B:H=5±0.8, and pressed wastes are supplied to combustion chamber cyclically. This method is implemented in the device for firing loose wastes, mainly wood wastes, which includes combustion chamber, loading hopper and device for simultaneous pressing and supply of wastes to combustion chamber, which is equipped with waste pressing and supply channel. Ratio of width of internal channel hole to its height H in cross section meets the condition B:H=5±0.8, and pressed wastes are supplied to combustion chamber cyclically. Besides in invention there used is combustion chamber for firing loose wastes, mainly wood wastes. Chamber includes housing with side loading hole, air supply hole to lower part of chamber and flue gas exhaust pipe in upper part of chamber. At that, combustion chamber is provided with two combustion zones V1 and V2 of various volumes; at that, ratio of volumes of combustion zones V1 and V2 meets the condition V1:V2=0.4±0.1, and air is supplied to combustion zone of volume V1 from several sides, where V1 - lower combustion zone of smaller volume, V2 -upper combustion zone of bigger volume.

EFFECT: utilising wastes with large particles with high humidity without their preliminary preparation, which include eg knots, bark and fines.
