FIELD: materials handling equipment. SUBSTANCE: cross-member is made in form of beam with cheeks some of which are secured on ends of beam and others, in its central part. Balance weights are arranged and hinge-connected between cheeks on beam ends. Secured between balance weights are couplers connected with ends of sling wrapped around pin secured between cheeks in central part, and rods for load slings.
