FIELD: induction heating. SUBSTANCE: method for induction heating includes introduction of blank into induction device having inductor and intermediate heater, energizing the inductor and after required heating of blank 1, inductor is deenergized and the blank is removed from the device. Located inside blank 1 is additional heater in form of rod whose length exceeds blank length. Additional heater is heated by additional inductors 3 and 4 which are disposed from both sides of blank. Besides voltage supply is switched between additional inductors in the course of induction heating. Switching is effected at the moment of inner heater being in the middle position. EFFECT: increased efficiency and improved uniform heating of powder blanks. 2 cl, 1 dwg
