FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: method for production of sinter includes mixing, moistening and pelletizing of batch containing granulated sawdust impregnated with lime milk, loading of pelletized charge onto sintering machine, ignition, sintering and cooling. Novelty consists in introduction into batch of sawdust granules impregnated with lime milk in the amounts of 4-6 mas.% per ton of sinter cake. Impregnation of sawdust with lime milk and preliminary granulation results in increased gas permeability of charge and capacity of sintering machine. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 dwg, 1 tbl
